Changing the Culture
Major developments aimed
at changing the culture are:

Creative Learning/
Collaborative Leadership.

This ambitious programme
of continuous professional
development identifies:

Effective learning and
curriculum design as the
central means of raising
attainment and achievement.

Available to all staff, the
programme identifies “lead
learners” and will be based
on classroom “action
research”.

Excellent materials during
the programme of study.
The strengthening and
extension of the business
network to include:

Pilkington and the Liverpool
Philamonic Orchestra for
example.

The network is a major
provider of learning
opportunities.

Development of Business
Enterprise within schools
with business partners.

Links with Europe and
community initiatives
(the St Cuthbert’s ICT
Community Learning
Centre).

These developments
promise to be a valuable
legacy for schools
post 2006.
