Royal Liverpool
Philharmonic and EAZ hit
the high notes!
“The Royal Liverpool
Philharmonic is delighted to
be involved in providing such
a diverse range of music
workshops and performances
to the young people of
St Helens through this
partnership with the EAZ.
The children participating in
our programme will be
introduced to a wide variety
of musical styles, with the
aim of developing their own
creativity and broadening
their cultural understanding,
whilst at the same time
improving key academic and
social skills.”

Another new Partnership
Programme sees the forging
of a dynamic link between
the Royal Liverpool
Philharmonic, ACE & IMPACT
Education Action Zones.
Aiming to create new cultural
opportunities for both primary
and secondary pupils, the
programme is providing a
fantastic range of workshops
including:
• Musicians visiting schools
• Rehearsal visits
• Ensemble Performances
• Instrumental coaching
• Gospel Choir coaching
• A CD Creation Project
Partnership work continues
to be a real strength of the
work of the Education Action
Zones providing a host of
opportunities for children and
young people to learn.
The aim is not only to
provide a rich resource for
the coming year but also to
explore the means by which
they can become a
permanent feature of work
in all our schools.
